Estate Planning and Estate Administration:

Our firm has extensive experience representing individuals and families in the areas of Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Our Estate Planning services include the preparation of Wills, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, and Declarations of Homestead.

Our Estate Planning clients range from individuals and young couples to retirees, seniors and surviving spouses in order to provide them with a comprehensive, individualized Estate Plan to fit their specific situation and budget.

Our firm also provides legal services for Estate Administration and Probate of Estates after the loss of a family member or loved one. We assist our clients to obtain the necessary appointments from the Probate Court and work closely with them as they navigate these uncharted waters. Our thoughtful, caring approach provides our clients with a level of comfort and certainty during this very difficult and stressful time as we guide them through this sometimes daunting process. Elder Law and Medicaid Planning:

In addition to our Estate Planning Services, we also represent elders and their families in the areas of Elder Law and Medicaid Planning when a family member may need to go into a nursing home for an extended period of time. We take a comprehensive, team approach to providing legal services in this area, working with not only the client, but also with family members, health care providers, nursing homes, geriatric care managers, home care providers and others involved in this process.

Our Medicaid Planning services include performing an extensive review of our client’s financial, medical and family situations in order to determine the best course of action for their individual situation. After careful and thorough consultation with our clients we are also able to assist them in qualifying for Medicaid benefits to help pay for the cost of long-term care in the nursing home, while helping them to protect their assets that they have saved over their lifetimes. Business Law and Small Business Formation and Succession Planning:

Our firm also represents individuals and small businesses with a wide variety of business law issues, from choice of entity issues to business formation issues and issues related to succession planning. Real Estate Law and Land Use Permitting:

Our firm is a recognized leader in the area of Real Estate Law and Land Use Permitting, where we have represented individuals and businesses in a wide-range of real estate transactions and real estate developments. Our Real Estate services include representing Buyers and Sellers of residential and commercial properties, including the preparation and review of Purchase and Sale Agreements and closing documents. We also represent both Landlords and Tenants in lease negotiations and lease drafting, as well as resolution of Landlord-Tenant disputes.

Our Land Use Permitting services include representing clients before various municipal boards and agencies throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, including Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Appeals, Conservation Commissions and Boards of Selectmen in order to obtain various permits and approvals for our clients. Our clients have ranged from individual homeowners and small business owners, to large national retailers, such as Target, Boston Interiors, and Cumberland Farms.
