The Petitioner requested a Special Permit to operate a dog day care business with the option for overnight accommodations. This neighborhood presently consists of mature single-family, multi-family, and business uses, so the proposed use of repurposing the existing, abandoned business to a dog day care was consistent with and complemented the existing neighborhood character. The plan entitled “Seaside K9S” was prepared by Patrick Roseingrave, of CCR Associates Inc., 40 Mears Avenue, Quincy, MA 02169.
