The Petitioners requested a Special Permit under the Town of Falmouth Zoning Bylaw, Section 240-10.2, “Nonconforming Structures,” Subsection 240-10.2A “Standards,” Item, to allow for the construction of the proposed front porch to an existing dwelling. The granting of the requested relief was a special permit to allow for the construction of the proposed front porch to an existing dwelling which encroached into the required front yard setback of the property. The request for the special permit was granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
